Day Camp 2025
It’s that time of year! SU638 Day Camp is BACK again.
This year our theme will be THE WORLDS OF GIRL SCOUTING. Join us to explore the worlds of Well Being, Arts, People, Today and Tomorrow, and the Out of Doors… Of course, there will be all your favorite camp fun- arts and crafts, outdoor skills, hiking, singing, and most of all making new friends (and keeping the old!)
Here’s the important info everyone wants to know!!
When: June 23-27, 2025 9-3:30 each day
Where: Vasona Park, Los Gatos
Who: all girls and gender expansive youth entering 1st through 6th grade (non Girl Scouts will be required to complete GS registration prior to attending camp).
Who else?: Adult volunteer STAFF (earn free registration for your camper) and volunteer CREW entering grade 7-12. All volunteers (adults and CREW) must attend training. (PLEASE NOTE: This camp is entirely volunteer run. If we do not have enough volunteers, we can’t operate camp.)
Cost: $150 for the week for campers. Fees may be paid with product sale credit. Camperships are available in cases of financial need. Adult participation is free. CREW pay $150 and get a rebate of $25 for each day they attend. Tagalongs pay $25 for the week
Registration for campers and CREW will open March 1 at 10 am.
Within a week after your registration is received, I will email you a link to the cheddar up payment site and a link to the health form. DO NOT pay or go to the CheddarUp payment site unless you receive an email. If we receive more registrations than we can accommodate, a waiting list will be started and you will be notified if you are placed on the waitlist, and you won’t pay the fee unless your camper is accepted. Camper/ CREW registration is not complete until registration form, payment, and health form are completed.

MANDATED REPORTER TRAINING
Camps are required to check all of their volunteers that they have completed the Mandated Reporter training or that volunteer cannot volunteer at camp. The mandated reporter completion can either be checked on the attached report or you can ask the volunteer to check their own training badges and submit or send you proof. An individual can log in to the training portal and on the right when hovering over their name click on badges and it will show everything they have earned.
